NOVA Chemicals has invented a new type of highly durable PE resin. The product can be applied to frozen food packaging. The resin has a high tensile strength at a low temperature, and can largely avoid the occurrence of package cracking due to the collision of the ice cream in the freezer. The resin is made of common PE resin via a one-way special catalyst at a low temperature.
