U.S. Develops New Styrene Resin

U.S. Kraton Polymers recently successfully developed three types of styrene (PS) block copolymer resins with high transparency and impact resistance.
According to reports, these three resins have better rigidity, strength, toughness, impact resistance and thermal stability, and the sol content is also lower. All three resins are recyclable and meet US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) food packaging standards.
The researchers pointed out that each of the above three resins can be blow molded, injection molded, and blown film processed individually or as a component.
