a. Production method: using high-purity propylene as a monomer, titanium trichloride as a main catalyst, diethylchloroaluminum as a co-catalyst, gasoline as a solvent, and hydrogen as a molecular weight modifier at a temperature of 55 to 70° C. and a pressure of 0.1. Continuous polymerization is carried out in a polymerizer under MPa, and the polymer is a suspension, which is subjected to methanol esterification washing, separation, drying or extrusion granulation to obtain a homo- or copolymer finished product in the form of granules or powders.
b. Product performance: odorless, odorless, non-toxic milky white granular product or powdered product with a relative density of 0.90 to 0.91. Melting point 164-167°C. Has excellent mechanical properties, heat resistance, electrical insulation properties, chemical stability is also good, and most chemicals do not work. However, it has poor light resistance, is easy to age, has poor impact strength at low temperatures, and has poor dyeing properties. It needs to be improved by adding additives, blends, and copolymers. It is insoluble in water and does not absorb water. It can be boiled in water, disinfected at 130°C, and easily processed and formed.
c. Uses: Can be used as fan motor cover and electrical insulation materials, household appliances such as TV sets, radio cases, anti-corrosion pipes, plates, storage tanks and equipment linings, building materials, special brands can be used to make washing machine barrels, infusion bottles, etc. Can also be used to make woven bags, packaging films, tying materials and various types of containers, but also for the production of fibers.
d. Packaging and storage: It is packed with plastic film and jacket woven bag, net weight 25kg. It should be stored in a dry, cool, ventilated warehouse, protected from direct sunlight and stored in the open air. There should be fire-fighting facilities in the warehouse. During transport, it must not be mixed with sand, cement, coal, metal and other debris, and it must not be mixed with flammable and explosive materials, and should be protected from sun and rain during storage and transportation.
