Diamond wheel resin bond

The grinding performance of the diamond resin grinding wheel depends to a large extent on the performance of the bonding agent. Currently, the solution of the resin-resin grinding wheel is generally a solution-polymerized thermoplastic phenolic resin as a binding agent. This binding agent has the problems of easy moisture absorption and agglomeration, and difficulty in compounding. It is not easy to store for a long time, it needs curing agent to cure, and there is a large amount of harmful gas in the curing process. It needs to be processed into powder and other disadvantages. To overcome the above defects, the suspension polymerization thermosetting phenolic resin is used as a binder for diamond resin grinding wheel. The above problems can be solved better. This paper analyzes and compares the physical and chemical properties of suspension-polymerized thermosetting phenolic resins by using particle size analysis, infrared spectrum analysis, differential thermal analysis, weightlessness analysis, and color contrast analysis. The comparative grinding test was performed on the diamond grinding wheel. Since the thermosetting phenolic resin binder has the characteristics of high strength, good heat resistance, fine particle powder, good dispersion flowability, and easy use, the test results show that the thermosetting property of the suspension polymerization is used. The Comprehensive Performance and Grinding Effect of Diamond Grinding Wheel Developed from Phenolic Resin Bonding Agent Solution polymerization are better than the thermoplastic phenolic resin bond diamond wheel.
