Borealis recently developed a new brand of high melt strength, Daploy WB260HMS, for soft foaming PP, and called the brand a major breakthrough in soft foamed PP resin, with excellent heat resistance, overcoming the previous soft foam PP. The disadvantage of poor rigidity, suitable for the production of closed cell soft foam plastic, the relative density of up to 0.30g/cm3.
This grade has high melt strength and extensibility, enabling Daploy WB260HMS foam products to compete with currently used soft foam plastics. It is reported that the introduction of DaployWB260HMS will meet the consumer demand for high-performance soft foam plastics. (Li Wei)
